New Delhi: In a key event focused on technological advancement across public sector enterprises, Naveen Srivastava, Director (Operations) at POWERGRID, delivered an insightful presentation on the utility’s adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies during a workshop organized by the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) in New Delhi.

Speaking on the topic “Use of Industry 4.0 Technologies – Perspectives from POWERGRID,” Srivastava outlined the utility’s pioneering efforts in integrating smart technologies into core operations. From AI-enabled predictive maintenance and augmented/virtual reality (AR/VR)-assisted inspections to digital substations and smart grid technologies, POWERGRID’s digital journey was showcased as a model of innovation in the public sector.
