President Droupadi Murmu Addresses 76th Batch of IRS (Customs & Indirect Taxes) Officer Trainees at Rashtrapati Bhavan

New Delhi: The Officer Trainees of the Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Indirect Taxes), 76th batch, called on President of India Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan today. The interaction provided an opportunity for the President to guide the young officers on their critical role in nation-building and economic governance.

Revenue Collection as a Pillar of Nation-Building

Addressing the officer trainees, President Murmu emphasized that revenue collection forms the backbone of the nation’s development, funding essential sectors such as infrastructure, education, health, and social welfare programs.
