The construction of an AIIMS satellite center in Kichha, Udham Singh Nagar district, is a significant step in improving healthcare facilities in the region. During the ten years of the Modi government, Uttarakhand has received financial assistance totaling Rs. 1,86,000 crore, a figure that is three and a half times greater than the amount provided by the UPA government between 2004 and 2014.
