New Delhi: The government has issued notifications regarding key appointments and additional responsibilities in major public sector undertakings. The appointments, effective from December 2025, reflect strategic personnel management in the corporate governance of India’s leading oil and engineering companies.
Shruti Agnihotriy Assigned Additional Charge at IOCL
Shruti Agnihotriy, an Indian Revenue Accounts Service (IRAS) officer of the 1998 batch and currently serving as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at Engineers India Ltd. (EIL), Delhi, has been given the additional responsibility of CVO at Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL), Delhi.
This additional charge will be effective for a period of six months, starting from December 24, 2025. Agnihotriy’s appointment underscores the government’s emphasis on leveraging experienced officers to strengthen vigilance and corporate governance in leading public sector enterprises.

Meenaxi Rawat Takes on Additional Role at MRPL
In a parallel move, Meenaxi Rawat, an Indian Engineering Service (IES) officer of the 1993 batch and the current CVO of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL), Mumbai, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Chief Vigilance Officer at Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd. (MRPL), Mangaluru.
Rawat’s tenure in this additional role will also span six months, effective from December 12, 2025. This appointment is part of ongoing efforts to ensure robust vigilance oversight in critical refining and petrochemical operations across India.

Both appointments indicate the government’s focus on continuity and efficiency in vigilance functions within public sector undertakings.
