New Delhi: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has been conferred the prestigious Platinum Award at the 18th IEI Industry Excellence Awards 2026, organised by The Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI) in New Delhi.
The award recognises BEL’s contribution to engineering excellence and reflects the company’s continued focus on innovation and excellence in the engineering sector.
BEL Receives Platinum Award at IEI Industry Excellence Awards
The 18th IEI Industry Excellence Awards 2026 were organised on September 19, 2026, at the SCOPE Convention Centre, New Delhi.
The awards ceremony was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Ranga Reddy Enti and was organised alongside the 5th IEI Engineering Education Excellence Awards 2026.
BEL’s recognition with the Platinum Award highlights the company’s contribution to engineering and its continued efforts towards maintaining high standards of excellence.

Award Presented by Governor of Mizoram
The Platinum Award was presented to Sameer, General Manager (Network Centric Systems), BEL.
The award was presented by General (Dr) Vijay Kumar Singh (Retd), Governor of Mizoram, along with Shalabh Goel, Managing Director, National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC).
The presence of senior dignitaries and industry leaders marked the significance of the IEI Industry Excellence Awards, which recognise achievements across the engineering and industrial sectors.
