A 1996 batch senior IAS officer, Mamta Verma, has been appointed as the Additional Director on the Board of Gujarat Gas Limited w.e.f. 1st May 2023. She was serving as Principal Secretary in the Energy & Petrochemicals Department (EPD), Government of Gujarat.
The Board of Directors of Gujarat Gas Limited has confirmed her appointment.
The company in its BSE Filling mentioned that the aforesaid appointment has been made in view of the letter received from the Energy & Petrochemicals Department (EPD), Government of Gujarat intimating the appointment of Smt. Mamta Verma, IAS, Principal Secretary, Energy & Petrochemicals Department (EPD), as Director on the Board of Gujarat Gas Limited.
ABOUT MAMTA VERMA
Ms Verma is experienced in the field of Management & Administration. She has an MA in Psychology and has also done post graduation in Physiology.
She has been the CEO of Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority and Special Commissioner, Commercial Taxes; Director, Municipal Administrator; CEO of Gujarat Urban Development Corporation; Secretary to Government in the Industries and Mines Department among many other positions held.
