The Maharatna company, Coal India Limited (CIL) recorded a 77 per cent increase in coal sales via e-auction.
“In a bid to improve coal supply in the country, Coal India Limited has registered a whopping 77% growth in e-auction sales. Since coal is used as an intermediary fuel in several industries, this remarkable feat signals a rebound in economic activities” said Shri Pralhad Joshi, Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Minister of Mines, and Minister of Coal.
