IAS officer Ajay Yadav has assumed the charge of Managing Director, Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) from 31st May 2023 (F/N).
Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) is a Miniratna Category-I Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) that was established in 2011. SECI is the primary implementing agency of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India, for Renewable Energy schemes/projects that contribute to India’s international commitments.
SECI has granted Renewable Energy (RE) project capacities totalling over 58 GW to far. SECI is also involved in project development through its own investments and for other public sector institutions as a Project Management Consultant (PMC). ICRA has assigned SECI the highest credit rating of AAA.
