The Government of Punjab has lately orchestrated the transfer and posting of 6 IAS officers, including four Deputy Commissioners (DCs).
The transferred DCs are:
- IAS Kulwant Singh (2012 batch) became the Deputy Commissioner of Mansa, replacing IAS Paramvir Singh (2015 batch).
- IAS Vishesh Sarangal (2013 batch) became the Deputy Commissioner of Moga, replacing IAS Kulwant Singh.
- IAS Uma Shankar Gupta (2015 batch) became the Deputy Commissioner of Gurdaspur, replacing IAS Vishesh Sarangal.
- IAS Rajesh Tripathi (2016 batch) became the Deputy Commissioner of Sri Muktsar Sahib, replacing IAS Harpreet Singh Sudan (2013 batch).
