Punjab: 8 IAS Officers Get Promotion, 5 Including Vikas Pratap Made Addl Chief Secy

The other four officers who have been made additional chief secretary are Alok Shekhar, J M Balamurugan, Tejveer Singh and Dhirendra Kr Tiwari

Punjab government has promoted five IAS officers of the 1994 batch to the post of additional chief secretary and three officers of 1999 batch to principal secretary/financial commissioner.

Vikas Pratap, Alok Shekhar, J M Balamurugan and Tejveer Singh have been made additional chief secretary with effect from 1 January, 2024. Dhirendra Kr Tiwari promotion will come into effect from January 28, 2024.

Bhawna Garg, Nilkanth S Avhad and Ajoy Sharma have been promoted as principal secretary/financial commissioner with effect from 1 January, 2024.

Mr. Shekhar and Ms. Garg are currently on central deputation.
