Chandigarh: The selection list for the promotion of Punjab State Police Service (PPS) officers to the Indian Police Service (IPS) has been released. Covering the years 2019, 2020, and 2021, the list was approved by the selection committee on 16 July 2025.

The list includes Punjab cadre officers for a total of 18 IPS vacancies—12 from 2019, one from 2020, and five from 2021. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) approved the list on 8 August 2025.
