The government of Punjab carried out a significant police reshuffle in the state by transferring 210 police officials to the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) rank, including two IPS officers.
The IPS transferees are:
- Mr. Jayant Puri (2021 batch) became the ASP of Dera Bassi, SAS Nagar.
- Mr. Vaibhav Chaudhary (2020 batch) became the ASP of Patiala SD City-1.
