The central deputation tenure of Rahul Jain as Joint Secretary, Sixteenth Finance Commission has been extended for two years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (13.09.2024), the competent authority has approved the proposal of the Sixteenth Finance Commission to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Jain for two years beyond 03.11.2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
