RailTel Corporation of India Limited, a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking (PSU), convened its Board of Directors meeting on Sunday, June 15, 2025, and approved a Final Dividend of 8.5% of the paid-up share capital, translating to ₹0.85 per equity share, for the financial year 2024–25.
This Final Dividend comes in addition to the Interim Dividend of ₹2 per share already disbursed during the fiscal year, bringing the total dividend payout to ₹2.85 per share for FY 2024–25.
Final Dividend Subject to Shareholder Approval
The disbursal of the Final Dividend is subject to the approval of shareholders at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). Once approved, RailTel has confirmed that the dividend amount will be credited to eligible shareholders within 30 days from the date of declaration at the AGM.
Board Recommends Appointment of Secretarial Auditor
In addition to the dividend announcement, the RailTel Board has also recommended the appointment of M/s. Amit Agrawal & Associates as the Secretarial Auditor for a period of five financial years, starting from FY 2025–26 through FY 2029–30. This recommendation will also be placed before shareholders during the AGM for approval.
