New Delhi– Navratna PSU, RailTel Corporation of India Ltd, has received a new work order worth ₹17.74 crore (including tax) from the General Administration Department (GAD), Government of Chhattisgarh, for implementing an integrated ICT infrastructure solution across the state.
Scope of Work: Digital Infrastructure Overhaul
The project includes comprehensive services such as:
- Network Connectivity
- Operation & Maintenance (O&M)
- Procurement and Commissioning of Hardware
- Deployment of Integrated Communication Systems including WLAN, LAN, and EPABX Infrastructure
The execution timeline for the entire project extends up to January 14, 2031, reflecting its long-term, strategic significance for the state’s digital governance ecosystem.

Part of a Strong Growth Momentum
This order follows closely on the heels of another major win for RailTel. On July 8, 2025, the PSU secured a ₹96.99 crore order from the Central Warehousing Corporation, further expanding its portfolio of high-value digital infrastructure contracts.
As of May 5, 2025, RailTel’s total order book stood at ₹6,616 crore, highlighting the company’s robust business pipeline. According to analysts, RailTel aims to secure at least ₹4,000 crore worth of new orders in the current financial year, indicating a sharp growth trajectory in both public and private sector contracts.
