New Delhi: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has commenced the recruitment process for several key director-level positions in major Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs). On July 8, 2025, PESB issued official notifications inviting eligible and experienced candidates to apply for the posts of Director (Technical & Operations) at HLL Lifecare Limited, Director (Technical) at Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Limited (CMPDIL), and Director (Human Resources) at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL).

Director (Technical & Operations) at HLL Lifecare Limited

The Director (Technical & Operations) position at HLL Lifecare Limited has been vacant since April 9, 2025, following the elevation of Dr. Anitha Thampi to the role of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). Dr. Thampi continues to hold the Technical & Operations portfolio as an additional responsibility. The post is crucial for steering the technical and operational functions of HLL, a leading government-owned healthcare company.

Interested candidates are invited to submit their applications by August 4, 2025. Dr. Thampi, who has been serving as Director (Technical & Operations) since January 4, 2023, was appointed CMD on April 1, 2025.

This vacancy comes amid other Director (Technical) positions at CMPDIL currently being unfilled. PESB recently interviewed candidates and recommended two individuals, Rajeev Kumar Sinha and Nripendra Nath, to the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) for appointment consideration. These selections reflect ongoing efforts to strengthen CMPDIL’s technical leadership in mine planning and design.

Applications for this post are also open until August 4, 2025.

Director (Human Resources) at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL)

The post of Director (Human Resources) at BPCL will fall vacant on April 1, 2026, upon the retirement of the incumbent Raj Kumar Dubey, who assumed charge on May 1, 2023. PESB has invited applications for this important leadership role responsible for overseeing the human resource strategies of one of India’s largest oil refining and marketing companies.

Applications for this position must also be submitted by August 4, 2025.

Application and Selection Process
