Raipur: To present Chhattisgarh’s rich literary, cultural, and intellectual heritage on a national platform, the Raipur Literature Festival – 2026 will be organized from January 23 to January 25, 2026, at Purkhauti Muktangan, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar. The three-day festival aims to bring together writers, poets, thinkers, artists, students, and literature enthusiasts from across the country, creating a vibrant confluence of ideas, creativity, and cultural expression.

Free and Convenient Transportation Arranged for Public Participation

Keeping in view the convenience of citizens, students, youth, and literature lovers, the state government has made special free transportation arrangements to ensure maximum public participation. To facilitate smooth access to the venue, six dedicated bus routes have been designated from different parts of Raipur city to Purkhauti Muktangan, Nava Raipur.

The buses will operate on all three days of the festival at the following scheduled timings:
9:00 AM, 10:30 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:30 PM, 3:00 PM, and 4:30 PM

Route No. 1

Tatibandh to Purkhauti Muktangan via Sarona, Raipur Chowk, Kushalpur, Bhathagaon Chowk, Santoshi Nagar Chowk, Pachpedi Naka, MMI, Devpuri, Dumartarai, Mana Mod, Temri, Mana Camp, and Nava Raipur.

Route No. 2

Railway Station to Purkhauti Muktangan via Fafadih Chowk, D. Nagar, Mekahara, Shastri Chowk, Kalibari, Siddharth Chowk, Pachpedi Naka, MMI, Devpuri, Dumartarai, Mana Mod, Temri, Mana Camp, and Nava Raipur.

Route No. 3

Railway Station to Purkhauti Muktangan via Fafadih Chowk, Mekahara, Ghadi Chowk, Gandhi Udyan, Bhagat Singh Chowk, Telibandha, Avantibai Chowk, Pt. Deendayal Chowk, VIP Chowk, Agricultural University, Labhandi, Jora, Naya Raipur, and Capital Complex.

Route No. 4

University Gate to Purkhauti Muktangan via Science College, Ayurvedic College, Ashram, Amapara, Azad Chowk, Kalibari, Siddharth Chowk, Pachpedi Naka, MMI, Devpuri, Dumartarai, Mana Mod, Temri, Mana Camp, and Naya Raipur.

Route No. 5

Kachna to Purkhauti Muktangan via Mowa, Lodhipara, Pandri, Shastri Chowk, Kalibari Chowk, Siddharth Chowk, Pachpedi Naka, Mahavir Nagar, Telibandha, Avantibai Chowk, Pt. Deendayal Chowk, VIP Chowk, Agricultural University, Labhandi, Jora, Naya Raipur, and Capital Complex.

Route No. 6

Bhathagaon to Purkhauti Muktangan via Pachpedi Naka, MMI, Devpuri, Dumartarai, Mana Mod, Temri, Mana Camp, and Naya Raipur.

Platform for Literature, Culture, and Intellectual Exchange

The Raipur Literature Festival 2026 is envisioned as a dynamic platform to connect Chhattisgarh’s cultural soul, folk traditions, and literary consciousness with the younger generation. The festival will witness the participation of eminent writers, poets, storytellers, thinkers, journalists, theatre artists, cultural performers, and literature enthusiasts from across India.
