Defence Minister and senior leader of BJP Rajnath Singh applauded the District Magistrate of Pilibhit, Pulkit Khare for guiding the farmer about the minimum support price. Mr. Singh personally called him and appreciated his efforts. He himself is holding various meetings and taking to farmers about the misconception regarding the recent Farm reform laws.
Actually, when Mr. Khare knew about the irregularity regarding the price of paddy in the Mandi of his district, he took the matter in his control. He reached at the scene and flared up at the committee officers involved in the irregularities. Four of the centre officers were suspended and an additional SDM was brought in to take responsibility of the matter ahead. DM publically reprimanded Deputy RMO along with other officers of the committee for which farmers applauded him and appreciated his way to work. The video of this surprise visit went viral on social media.
He gave strict orders about the sale and purchase of the paddy on fixed rates. Mr. Khare made sure that every farmer gain benefits and also warned those who might want to create problem. He said that all of them will be taken ahead by the law.
