Chennai: Celebrated IAS officer and Kerala’s noted anti-corruption crusader Dr. Raju Narayana Swamy has been honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award instituted by the Savita Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS), Chennai. The award will be presented during the institution’s Founder’s Day celebrations on November 15, 2025, at the M.M. Convention Centre, Poonamallee Campus.
SIMATS, a multi-disciplinary Deemed-to-be University accredited with NAAC A++ and ranked 13th among all universities in India by NIRF 2025, recognized Dr. Swamy for his unwavering fight against corruption and exemplary contributions to governance.
Honouring an Anti-Corruption Champion
Dr. Raju Narayana Swamy, an IAS officer of the 1991 batch and All-India Rank 1, has earned national acclaim for his integrity, transparency-driven initiatives, and fearless fight against corruption.
This prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award acknowledges his decades-long service in promoting clean, accountable governance and his contributions to rural development, education, health, and public-sector reform.

Record 38 Election Observer Duties
Dr. Swamy recently made headlines for completing a record 38 assignments as Central Observer for the Election Commission of India, including serving as an International Observer during Zimbabwe’s 2018 elections.
