New Delhi: Building on the immense success of its 17th edition, which celebrated nearly two decades of fostering industry collaboration, Informa Markets in India proudly unveils the 18th edition of Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2025. Set to take place from October 30 to November 1, 2025, at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, this year’s expo promises to set new benchmarks for innovation, sustainability, and partnerships in the renewable energy sector. The event will once again be co-located with the 3rd edition of The Battery Show India (TBSI), forming an unparalleled platform to drive India’s vision for a cleaner, greener future.

A Game-Changer in Clean Energy Innovation and Partnerships

REI 2025 and TBSI 2025 together will create an ecosystem covering the entire energy value chain, from renewable generation to advanced battery technologies and energy storage solutions. This dual exposition will be the largest gathering of its kind in South Asia, uniting global manufacturers, innovators, investors, and policymakers under the theme “Decoding Pathways to Achieve Net Zero”. With over 700 exhibitors, 1,000 brands, and more than 35,000 visitors, REI Expo 2025 is set to be Asia’s premier clean energy event.

A Global Platform for Clean Energy Solutions

REI Expo 2025 will feature a comprehensive showcase of renewable energy solutions, including solar manufacturing, battery storage, EV charging infrastructure, inverters, biomass, and wind energy. The expo aims to foster collaboration and technological exchange among stakeholders across the energy value chain.

Alongside, TBSI 2025 will highlight advanced battery manufacturing and energy storage technologies, positioning itself as South Asia’s foremost platform for innovations in mobility and storage. The expo has garnered strong institutional backing from the Department of Science & Technology and Ministry of Heavy Industries, enhancing its stature as a global event in the energy storage sector.

Government and Global Support for Clean Energy

A notable addition to REI 2025 is the Government of Odisha, which has been onboarded as the event’s State Partner, underscoring the government’s dedication to advancing the country’s battery and energy storage ecosystem. In addition, several global markets, including China, Japan, and Korea, are contributing to the event, alongside country pavilions from Germany, Belgium, and others supported by the European Union’s Cluster Collaboration Platform. This global representation will help amplify innovation and encourage partnerships in renewable energy.

The event will also introduce the Start-up Pavilion, providing a platform for emerging innovators to showcase their solutions. Additionally, an Investor Zone will be available to connect entrepreneurs with potential investors, facilitating the growth of the clean energy sector.

Comprehensive Focus on Energy Storage and Mobility

The Energy Storage Summit India (ESS India) will be a highlight of the event, featuring discussions on financing models, regulatory challenges, and the rapidly growing battery energy storage systems (BESS) market. Discussions will delve into India’s potential to become a global hub for energy storage components and policy incentives driving large-scale ESS deployment. Sessions will also explore the integration of electric vehicles (EVs), storage, and bioenergy, forming a holistic energy ecosystem.

A major focus will also be placed on India’s renewable, EV, and energy storage momentum, with discussions on talent development, circular economy practices, and second-life battery applications. The conference will feature over 26 sessions, including keynotes, expert panels, and technical discussions, which will address both national and global renewable energy priorities.

REI and TBSI: Catalysts for India’s Energy Transition

India’s clean energy sector is on the rise, with the country on track to meet its goal of 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030. By 2025, India’s installed renewable energy capacity has already tripled from 76 GW in 2014 to over 226 GW, positioning the country as a global leader in the renewable energy transition. The REI Expo 2025 serves as the ideal platform to accelerate these efforts, facilitating collaboration among global stakeholders to drive innovation and investment into India’s clean energy future.

Meanwhile, The Battery Show India (TBSI) will highlight the remarkable growth of electric mobility, with the Indian EV battery market projected to grow from USD 16.77 billion in 2023 to USD 27.70 billion by 2028. The event will explore next-generation storage solutions and technologies pivotal to sustainable mobility.

Key Exhibitors and Participants

The event will showcase major players in the clean energy industry, including Reliance, Insolation, Adani Solar, Vikram Solar, Goldi Solar, Semco, Thermofisher, PNT Korea, and BASF, among others. The diverse participation of over 700 exhibitors from leading global brands will ensure that the event remains a key global meeting point for innovators and policymakers.

India’s Renewable Energy Future

As India continues to grow its renewable energy infrastructure, the REI Expo 2025 and TBSI 2025 will play a crucial role in shaping the country’s low-carbon future. These platforms are set to be pivotal in driving investment, fostering partnerships, and enabling the scaling up of technologies that will propel India’s journey toward net-zero emissions.

Mr. Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director of Informa Markets in India, highlighted, “Renewable Energy India 2025 reflects the pulse of a nation that is firmly steering toward energy independence and sustainability. This event stands as the definitive platform for innovation, investment, and collaboration, ensuring India leads the next wave of clean energy transformation.”

REI Expo 2025 and TBSI 2025 will be a landmark event in India’s renewable energy trajectory, underscoring the country’s commitment to a greener, more sustainable future.
