In a significant move to expand their footprint in the infrastructure and energy sectors, RITES Limited, a premier transport infrastructure consultancy and engineering firm, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Limited (CMPDI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Coal India Limited (CIL). Under this agreement, RITES and CMPDI will jointly identify and pursue consultancy assignments and infrastructure development projects. The partnership is expected to yield synergies in areas such as:

The two public sector enterprises plan to collaborate on feasibility studies, technical assessments, and capacity-building initiatives across pre-identified geographies.
