New Delhi – In a proud moment for India and the PSU sector, Ms. Sweety Sharma, an employee of Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR), clinched the gold medal at the 2025 Asian African Pacific Equipped Powerlifting Bench Press Championship, held recently in Japan.

Her victory marks a significant achievement not only for Indian powerlifting but also underscores the presence of athletic excellence within India’s public sector enterprises.

Shining on the International Stage

Ms. Sharma’s exceptional performance in the championship was the result of years of rigorous training, discipline, and perseverance.
