IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri met Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Sunday and requested him to reconsider the transfer. The officer said that she has initiated various covid-related campaigns as the DC, Mysuru.
Let it be noted that IAS officer Sindhuri and Shilpa Nag were transferred from Mysuru after a public spat. Previously, the Commissioner of Mysuru City Corporation Ms. Nag had announced her resignation alleging harassment by Mysuru DC Ms. Sindhuri. However, her resignation was not accepted and both the officer have been given transfer orders.
Sindhuri has been made commissioner of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments while 2014 batch officer Ms. Nag has been appointed as the director of e-governance of the rural development and panchayat raj department.
Ms. Nag has decided to withdraw her resignation and will report to her department soon. Meanwhile, the meeting of Ms Sindhuri with Yediyurappa was confirmed by himself. Talking to the reporters the CM said, “Yes, Rohini Sindhuri, after her transfer, had come to meet me. There is no question of re-examining the transfers. I have asked her to report to the department to which she has been transferred to”.
