New Delhi: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has once again been recognized for its exemplary environmental practices, as its Environment Management Division (EMD) was conferred with the 24th Annual Greentech Environment Award 2025. The award was presented during the 24th Global Environment & Sustainability Summit 2025, held in the national capital.

The prestigious accolade honors SAIL’s sustained efforts in promoting environmental protection and embedding sustainable practices throughout its operations. The award recognizes EMD’s outstanding initiatives aimed at minimizing environmental impact, enhancing resource efficiency, and improving ecological balance across all its steel plants and associated units.
