New Delhi: The Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) successfully hosted the SCOPE Business Quiz Bonanza, a national-level competition designed to test and celebrate the intellectual prowess of employees from Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs).
The event was graced by Mr K.S. Murthy, CMD, BHEL, Mr Atul Sobti, Director General, SCOPE, and Mr Uttam Lal, Director (Personnel), NHPC, who addressed the participants and highlighted the importance of continuous learning, teamwork, and strategic thinking in the public sector.
Massive Turnout Highlights PSE Engagement
Held at the SCOPE Complex in New Delhi, the quiz attracted a record 107 teams from various PSEs across the country, reflecting the growing enthusiasm for intellectual challenges among public sector professionals.
The competition was designed not only to encourage healthy rivalry but also to enhance knowledge of global business trends, economic principles, and current affairs among participants.
Winners and Runners-Up
After rigorous rounds of quizzing, the winning team was declared as:
- S.W. Kispotta and Anand Raj, SAIL
The runners-up team included:
- Saif Rahman and Mohit Kumar Gupta, Grid India
The winners were lauded for their analytical skills, quick thinking, and strategic knowledge, while all participants received accolades for their enthusiasm and intellectual engagement.

Mr Sobti, DG, SCOPE, emphasized that the quiz served as a platform to foster teamwork, competitive spirit, and innovation among PSE employees.

The quiz highlighted the dynamic role of PSEs in driving India’s economic growth, while offering participants a chance to sharpen their business acumen and problem-solving abilities.
