Haldia, West Bengal: The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has successfully concluded its 11th Green Ammonia Auction, discovering a tariff of ₹64.74 per kilogram. The allocation covers 20,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) to Indorama India Pvt. Ltd. (IIPL), marking a significant step in advancing India’s green hydrogen and ammonia ecosystem.
Driving Green Energy Transition
The winning bidder, M/s ACME Cleantech Solutions Private Limited, secured the project under the SIGHT Scheme (Mode 2A). The auction highlights SECI’s push to accelerate industrial decarbonization by integrating clean hydrogen derivatives into key sectors such as fertilizers and chemicals.
By facilitating competitive tariff discovery, SECI ensures affordability in the green ammonia supply chain, making renewable energy solutions commercially viable.

The project at Haldia, West Bengal, will support Indorama India’s commitment to green manufacturing while contributing to India’s broader energy transition roadmap.
