Senior IAS officer Shantmanu (AGMUT:1991) has been repatriated to his parent cadre at the request of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued an order on Friday, November 29, 2024, confirming the move.
Shantmanu, who is currently serving as Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, will return to the AGMUT cadre following the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet’s approval.
The DoPT order stated, “The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the repatriation of Shri Shantmanu, IAS (AGMUT:91), Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, to his parent cadre on the request of the Ministry of Home Affairs.”
