Mr. Piyush Singh, an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer of the 2007 batch, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Paraguay.
Currently serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs, Mr. Singh brings extensive diplomatic experience to his new role. His appointment is expected to strengthen India’s bilateral relations with Paraguay, fostering cooperation in trade, investment, and cultural exchanges.
He is set to assume charge soon, as per an official announcement from the Ministry of External Affairs.
