Recently, several bureaucrats were empanelled in the ranks of Secretary, Additional Secretaries, and Deputy Secretaries in the Union Government.
They are:
- Mr. Arunish Chawla (1992-batch Bihar cadre IAS officer), presently posted as Secretary in the Department of Pharmaceuticals, has been given additional charge as Secretary in the Ministry of Culture, reliving Mr. Govind Mohan (1989-batch IAS officer).
- Mr. Jafar Malik (2013-batch Kerala cadre IAS officer), last posted as Executive Director in Kudumbasree, Thiruvananthapuram, has been appointed Deputy Secretary in the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry under the Central Staffing Scheme for a four-year tenure.
- Mr. Rohit Raj (2008-batch IRS-Income Tax Officer) has been appointed Director of Civil Aviation, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme for five years.
- Ms. Anugraha P (2011-batch Madhya Pradesh cadre IAS officer) has been appointed Deputy Secretary in the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, under the Central Staffing Scheme for a four-year term.
