HYDERABAD: SJVN Limited, a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking, celebrated a remarkable sporting achievement at the 28th Inter-CPSU Carrom Tournament, held in Hyderabad from December 21 to 24, 2025. The event brought together top talent from India’s power sector, highlighting competitive spirit and team excellence.

The spotlight of the tournament was Ms. Karuna Sharma, who clinched the Gold Medal in the Women’s Singles Carrom event. Her outstanding performance not only demonstrated individual skill but also reflected the dedication and talent present within the SJVN workforce.

SJVN Women’s Team Secures Bronze

In addition to Karuna Sharma’s individual success, the SJVN Women’s Carrom Team showcased excellent teamwork, earning the Bronze Medal in the team event. The team members included:

The 28th Inter-CPSU Carrom Tournament was organized by REC Limited under the aegis of the Power Sports Control Board (PSCB). The event featured intense competition among 11 women’s teams representing various Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs) from across India. The tournament served as a platform for employees to display their sporting skills, camaraderie, and competitive spirit.
