Susanta Nanda Appointed As Chief Wildlife Warden, Odisha

Senior IFS officer Mr. Susanta Nanda as Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) and Chief Wildlife Warden, Odisha by the state government. A 1989 batch IFS officer Mr. Nanda was serving as CE of Chilika Development Authority.

He will be replacing Sushil Kumar Popli who retired on October 31 as the Chief Wildlife Warden. According to a notification issued by Department of Forest, Environment and Climate Change this will be additional charge apart from his current responsibilities. Mr. Nanda who is quite popular of social media for his wildlife related posts has shared his happiness on getting new responsibiltiy. He wrote,” It is time to move on.”
