Telangana: 13 IAS & 4 IFS Officers Transferred, Ila Tripathi Appointed As Collector of Nalgonda

In a significant administrative reshuffle ahead of the Diwali festival, the State government announced the transfer of 13 IAS officers, four IFS officers, and 70 Special Grade Deputy Collectors and Deputy Collectors.

Key changes include the transfer of 2015 batch IAS officer Narayana Reddy from Collector of Nalgonda to Collector of Rangareddy, with 2013 batch IAS officer K Shashanka taking over his previous role.

2017 batch IAS officer Ila Tripathi, previously the Director of Tourism, has been appointed as Collector of Nalgonda, while M Hanumantha Rao, also an IAS officer of 2013 batch and Special Commissioner in the I&PR Department, has been transferred to Collector of Yadadri Bhongir.

2004 batch IAS officer Dr. TK Sreedevi, currently the Commissioner of SCD, will now serve as the Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration, relieving VP Gautham from full additional charge. Manda Makarandu, the Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation in Nizamabad, has been designated as Project Director for the CMRO Project at CCLA in Hyderabad.

Other notable transfers include Zendage Hanumant Kondiba, who will take over as Director of Tourism, and K Shashanka, who has been appointed as Commissioner of State Flagship Projects. S Harish, Joint Secretary to Government in the Revenue (DM) Department, has been reassigned as Special Commissioner in the I&PR, also taking on additional responsibilities as Joint Secretary to the Revenue Department.

Aisha Masrat Khanam has been appointed Joint Secretary to Government in the HM & FW Department, while T Vinay Krishna Reddy moves to the role of Commissioner of R&R and LA in the I&CAD Department. Nikhil Chakravarthi has been placed in full additional charge of Additional Commissioner, CT.

In the IFS department, N Kshitija has been transferred from Chief Conservator of Forests to Managing Director of the Scheduled Castes Development Corporation, while VVL Subhadra Devi moves to Additional Commissioner (Urban Forestry) with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

The government also issued GO Ms 392, which included the transfer of 70 Special Grade Deputy Collectors and Deputy Collectors, directing L Ramesh, N Anand Kumar, and V Hanuma Naik to report to the Revenue Department for further postings.

These administrative changes come as the government prepares for the festive season, aiming to streamline operations and enhance efficiency in various departments.
