M. Dana Kishore’s Position Requires Separate Confirmation
M. Dana Kishore, a 1996-batch IAS officer of the Telangana cadre, is mentioned in the order in connection with the transfer of responsibilities in the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development portfolio.
Separate media reports have also referred to his reappointment following his scheduled superannuation at the end of October. However, the uploaded G.O. Rt. No. 1553 does not itself contain a separate reappointment order for him.
His reappointment, including the post and terms of service, should therefore be confirmed through a separate government order before being reported as a formal decision.
Telangana Reassigns Responsibilities Across Key Departments
The October 28 reshuffle changes leadership and additional-charge arrangements across several major administrative portfolios. The order covers environment and forests, energy, transport, urban development, revenue, tribal welfare, healthcare, women and child welfare, and renewable energy.
While 12 officers are covered by the transfer and posting order, several changes involve full additional charge rather than a complete transfer from an existing position. The revised arrangements are intended to establish the state government’s administrative responsibilities across the departments concerned.
