Hyderabad: In one of the biggest reshuffles in recent months, the Telangana government on Friday issued orders transferring and posting 32 IPS officers across various wings of the state police. The General Administration (SPL.B) Department released G.O.Rt.No.1632, detailing the new postings aimed at strengthening administrative efficiency and optimizing workforce deployment across districts, ranges, and specialized units.
Senior IPS Officers Get Key Leadership Roles
The reshuffle began with major postings at the senior-most levels:
Devendra Singh Chauhan Named ADGP (Personnel)
Senior IPS officer Devendra Singh Chauhan (1997 batch) has been appointed as Additional Director General of Police (Personnel) at the DGP office. He will also hold full additional charge of ADGP, Multizone-II, Hyderabad, a crucial supervisory position.
Parimala Hana Nutan Jacob Posted as DIG, CID
Ms. J. Parimala Hana Nutan Jacob (IPS 2009), previously Joint Commissioner of Police (Administration), Hyderabad City, has been transferred as Deputy Inspector General of Police, CID, Hyderabad.
Srinivasulu to Head Crimes Wing
Srinivasulu (IPS 2006) has moved from Inspector General of Police, CID, to serve as Additional Commissioner of Police (Crimes), Hyderabad City.
