IAS officer Ms. Tina Dabi bids farewell to Jaisalmer. She was posted as the DC, Jaisalmer, but she has now requested the Rajasthan government to put her on a non-field posting in Jaipur, as she is expecting her first child in September this year.
She shared this news in an Instagram post and recalled her experiences in that beautiful place. She wrote,“ Alvida Jaisalmer! Truly blessed to have got an opportunity to serve this wonderful district for one year as its District Collector and Magistrate,” she wrote in the caption.
“From launching initiatives like Swachh Jaisan and Ladies First (Jaisan Shakti) to securing All India Rank 2 in Niti Aayog’s Aspirational District Programme in November 2022, to hosting International Desert Festival 2023, it has been an amazing journey,” she added.
Ms. Dabi is the topper of the UPSC 2015 batch and became the first female collector of Jaisalmer. She got married to IAS officer Pradeep Gawande in April last year.
