After the Union government appointed seven Joint Secretary rank officers in a recent move, two Haryana cadre IAS officers from among them were given appointments in the central ministries.
Mr. Pankaj Yadav, a 2001-batch Haryana-cadre IAS officer, became Joint Secretary in the Department of Rural Development while Mr. Nitin Kumar Yadav, a 2000-batch Haryana-cadre IAS officer, was made Joint Secretary in the Commerce Ministry.
