Lucknow: In a fresh administrative reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has transferred 18 senior PCS (Provincial Civil Services) officers, Including 7 ADM, on Sunday to streamline governance and administrative efficiency across the state.
Among the notable transfers, 2015 batch PCS officer Gambhir Singh, who was serving as Additional District Officer (City) in Ghaziabad, has now been posted as Additional District Magistrate (Administration) in Azamgarh.
In another major move, Ambarish Kumar Bind, previously the Additional Municipal Commissioner in Prayagraj Nagar Nigam, will now serve as Municipal Magistrate, Bareilly.
Similarly, Hanuman Prasad, who held the post of Additional District Magistrate (Judicial) in Lucknow, has been posted as Additional District Magistrate, Rampur.
The government’s decision is part of a broader strategy to optimize the deployment of senior administrative officers based on regional needs and performance assessments.
