Lucknow/Greater Noida: Uttar Pradesh is set to highlight its rich agricultural legacy and modern innovations at the third edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2025, taking place from September 25 to 29 at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. The mega event will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday and will be held under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The event is being viewed as a major opportunity for the state to position itself as a national and global hub for agricultural innovation, research, and enterprise.

1,000 Sq. Meter Pavilion to Spotlight Farming Technologies and Innovations

The Agriculture Department has been allotted a 1,000-square-meter exhibition area, which will showcase the state’s achievements in modern farming practices, new technologies, and innovations in agriculture. Visitors will witness how traditional farming is merging with cutting-edge tools like drones, precision farming equipment, and smart irrigation systems.

The pavilion will also feature participation from:

  • Five top agricultural universities
  • Uttar Pradesh Seed Development Corporation
  • International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), Varanasi
  • Leading agri-tech companies involved in seeds, fertilizers, agrochemicals, and equipment.
  • Empowering Farmers: FPOs to Take Center Stage

More than 15 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) from various districts including Prayagraj, Etah, Jhansi, Meerut, Saharanpur, Barabanki, Lucknow, and Gautam Budh Nagar will display their produce, machinery, and innovations.

These FPOs are expected to directly connect progressive farmers with national and international buyers, opening up new markets and trade avenues.
