On June 19th, the government of Uttar Pradesh approved Mr. Mohammad Mustafa’s (1995-batch IAS officer) plea of him opting for voluntary retirement. Officer Mustafa, who was last posted as Principal Secretary in the Department of Public Enterprises, applied for VRS citing personal reasons.
IAS Mustafa returned from his central deputation in 2020 and was subsequently posted as the Labour Commissioner until 2021, after which he served the last leg of his bureaucratic journey as the Principal Secretary in Public Enterprises.
