Lucknow: Following the large-scale reshuffle of IAS officers earlier this week, the Yogi Adityanath–led Uttar Pradesh government has carried out another major administrative exercise, transferring 27 Provincial Civil Service (PCS) officers across key districts.
The government has issued new postings to officers holding positions such as Additional District Magistrate (ADM), Municipal Commissioners, and Development Authority Secretaries.
Key Appointments and Transfers
Senior-Level Postings
- Arun Kumar Singh has been appointed Additional Commissioner, Moradabad.
- Nirankar Singh takes charge as ADM (Finance & Revenue), Barabanki.
- Vineet Upadhyay will now serve as ADM (Finance & Revenue), Baghpat.
- Rajkumar Dwivedi becomes Additional Commissioner, Mirzapur, while Vivek Kumar takes over as Additional Commissioner, Varanasi.
Municipal and Development Authority Postings
- Atul Kumar has been posted as Additional Municipal Commissioner, Gorakhpur.
- Amit Kumar has been appointed Additional Municipal Commissioner, Varanasi.
- Pankaj Verma becomes Secretary, Moradabad Development Authority, while Ashish Kumar Singh takes over as Secretary, Mathura–Vrindavan Development Authority.
District-Level Administrative Roles
- Avinash Kumar has been appointed City Magistrate, Mirzapur.
- Vijay Kumar Mishra becomes ADM (Judicial), Kannauj, and Devendra Singh has been posted as ADM (Finance & Revenue), Kannauj.
- Vinay Pandey is now City Magistrate, Moradabad, while Kinshuk Srivastava will serve as ADM (City), Aligarh.
- Sangeeta Devi has been appointed ADM (Administration), Moradabad, and Arvind Dwivedi will be ADM (Judicial), Firozabad.
- Jyoti has been made ADM (Administration), Ghaziabad.

- Govind Maurya has been appointed Chief Manager, Cooperative Sugar Mill, Lucknow.

Officials said the reshuffle aims to enhance efficiency and streamline governance at the district and municipal levels, particularly ahead of key administrative and developmental reviews. The move also ensures that experienced PCS officers are positioned in roles requiring on-ground coordination and execution of government schemes.
