Lucknow — The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday announced a significant administrative reshuffle involving the transfer and posting of nine officers, including three IAS and six PCS officers. The move aims to boost administrative efficiency, strengthen governance, and prepare key departments for upcoming challenges such as local body elections and development initiatives.
The transfers reflect the state government’s ongoing commitment to effective public service delivery, transparency, and election readiness ahead of the scheduled local elections later this year.

Key Transfers Among IAS Officers:
- Arvind Kumar Mishra (IAS:2018) has been transferred from Chief Development Officer (CDO), Farrukhabad, to Additional Director in the Information Department, where he will oversee media management and government communication strategies.
- Vinod Kumar Goud (IAS:2020), previously Deputy Secretary at the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), Prayagraj, has been posted as Chief Development Officer, Farrukhabad, to supervise local development projects and governance.
- Dr. Alka Verma (IAS:2016), who was awaiting posting, has been appointed Director (Administration) in the Department of Medical and Health Services, a key role as the state intensifies efforts to enhance health infrastructure and rural outreach.
PCS Officer Transfers:
- Garima Swaroop, formerly Joint Director at the Directorate of Child Development and Nutrition, has been appointed Special Officer in the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, playing a crucial role in election preparations.
- Gaurav Ranjan Srivastava, who served as Additional District Magistrate (Finance & Revenue), Bahraich, has been transferred as Deputy Secretary at UPPSC, Prayagraj.
- Amit Kumar-II, previously ADM (City East), Lucknow, has been posted as ADM (Finance & Revenue), Bahraich.
- Mahendra Pal Singh, formerly ADM (Finance & Revenue), Auraiya, has been assigned as ADM (City East), Lucknow.
- Avinash Chandra Maurya, Deputy Director, Mandi Parishad, Lucknow, has been transferred as ADM (Finance & Revenue), Auraiya.
- Narendra Singh, formerly Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Moradabad, has been posted as Deputy Director, Mandi Parishad, Lucknow, where he will oversee agricultural marketing and mandi operations.
