UP: IAS P Guru Prasad Took Charge Of Housing & Urban Planning Department

The government of Uttar Pradesh has recently mandated IAS P Guru Prasad to take charge of the Housing & Urban Planning Department. Mr. P Guru Prasad, a 1999-batch Uttar Pradesh cadre IAS officer, was last serving as the Principal Secretary in the Department of Revenue. Officer Prasad was handed down the baton after the post fell vacant after the superannuation of Additional Chief Secretary Nitin Ramesh Gokarna (1990-batch IAS officer). IAS Prasad was also posted as the Commissioner of the Food Safety & Drugs Administration (FSDA) in Lucknow.
