Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has issued transfer orders of eight Indian Police Service (IPS) officers.
The Home Department released the notification on Saturday, reshuffling district police chiefs and senior officers in important units.
According to the orders-
Ram Sewak Gautam (IPS-2013 batch), Superintendent of Police (SP), Shamli, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, PTS, Moradabad.
Arvind Mishra (IPS-2015 batch), Superintendent of Police, Kanpur Dehat, has been made Superintendent of Police, EoW (Economic Offences Wing), Lucknow.
Ghanshyam (IPS-2015 batch), Superintendent of Police, Shravasti, has been transferred to Lucknow as Superintendent of Police, Security Headquarters.
Shraddha Narendra Pandey (IPS-RR 2017 batch), Commandant, 38th Battalion PAC, Aligarh, will now take charge as Superintendent of Police, Kanpur Dehat.
Rahul Bhati (IPS-RR 2018 batch), Superintendent of Police (SSP), Lucknow, has been shifted as Superintendent of Police, Shravasti.
Lakhan Singh Yadav (IPS-RR 2018 batch), Deputy Commissioner of Police, Gautam Buddh Nagar, has been transferred as Commandant, 38th Battalion PAC, Aligarh.
Narendra Pratap Singh (IPS), serving as SP/Additional SP Baghpat, has been posted as Superintendent of Police, Shamli.
Dr Pravin Ranjan Singh (IPS), Deputy Commissioner of Police/Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP)/, Police Commissionerate, Gautam Buddh Nagar, has been moved as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Police Commissionerate, Gautam Buddh Nagar itself, in a lateral transfer.
This reshuffle reflects the government’s continued focus on strengthening law and order management across sensitive districts and strategically important units such as the Economic Offences Wing and the Security Headquarters.
