Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has announced that more than 3,300 farmers will receive agricultural machinery on a subsidy after Holi 2026. This initiative aims to modernize farming practices and boost productivity across the state.
Farmers Selected via E-Lottery
Farmers who applied online by March 4, 2026, through the Agriculture Department portal (www.agridarshan.up.gov.in) will be eligible for selection. In districts where applications exceed the target number, beneficiaries will be chosen through a transparent e-lottery system, scheduled for Friday.
Selected farmers will be required to purchase the machinery and upload the receipt and photograph to the portal within 10 days. Those who are not selected in the lottery will have their security deposit refunded, typically within six months.

- Includes farm machinery banks, agricultural drones, and other single agricultural tools.

The Agriculture Department has emphasized transparency, urging all farmers who booked machinery online to participate in the district-level e-lottery to secure their chance of receiving subsidized equipment.
