This year, 23 candidates from Abhyudaya Yojana of UP government, were selected in UPSC CSE-2022, while 95 candidates who studied in Abhyudaya classes got selected in UP PCS conducted by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended the felicitation ceremony for the successful candidates of Abhyudaya Yojana held at Lok Bhavan in Lucknow on 9 May. Social Welfare Minister Aseem Arun and Minister of State Sanjeev Gaur were also present.
Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana was launched by the Social Welfare Department of Uttar Pradesh on 10 February, 2021. In the last two years, a total of 118 candidates have been selected in the UPSC and UPPSC examinations.
CM Yogi said that his government started Abhyudaya Yojana to pave the way for success after the challenges that came up because of Covid. Today, it is a matter of great pride for him that 23 candidates have been selected in UPSC from this Abhyudaya Yojana. Apart from this, the success of more than 100 others in UPSC and other competitive examinations through Abhyudaya Sansthan is a paradigm in itself.
He also said that the good results of the Abhyudaya Coaching Institute are visible in the state, today. In this coaching institute, newly selected candidates, who have achieved success in IAS, PCS, PPS, IIT-JEE and NEET, are also teaching by joining the committee constituted under the chairmanship of the Divisional Commissioner. Subject experts from universities and colleges have also been associated with this institute, which is running both physical and virtual classes.
CM Yogi further stated that now we have to further improve the quality of these coaching institutes operating in all 75 districts.
