The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the results for UPSC Indian Forest Service (IFS)-2023 Mains examination. A total number of 360 candidates have been successful and will be called for Interview.

The exams were held from November 26 to December 3, 2023. The results have now been declared at upsc.gov.in.
The result PDF, released by the UPSC, contains the shortlist of candidates selected for the personal interview round. Candidates who qualified the exam will go through interview round in May or June 2024.
The candidates can also check the result by going to UPSC website, using the steps given below.
- Step 1: First of all go to the official website of UPSC, upsc.gov.in.
- Step 2: On the home page, In What’s New Section – Click on the link ‘Written Result: Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2023’.
- Step 3: The PDF list will open on the screen.
- Step 4: Check your roll number in this list.
- Step 5: Download the PDF and take a printout for further reference.
Instructions on the submission of Detailed Application Form (DAF-II) has also been provided- “..in accordance with provisions of the Rules of the Examination, all these candidates have to fill up and submit DAF-II ONLINE only, which will be available on the Website of the Union Public Service Commission (https://upsconline.nic.in) from 16th January, 2024 to 22nd January, 2024 till 6:00 P.M. failing which his/her candidature shall stand cancelled and no correspondence will be entertained by the Commission in this regard. Further, e-Summon letter will not be issued to such candidates.”
In the UPSC IFS Notification 2023, a total vacancy of 150 has been mentioned through UPSC IFS recruitment 2023 for various posts.
