Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presented the roadmap for the “New Uttar Pradesh” in the state assembly during discussions on the 2025-26 supplementary budget, highlighting the state’s transformation across infrastructure, economy, agriculture, energy, and social welfare.

According to the CM, the state has moved beyond merely achieving Ease of Doing Business, positioning itself as a global benchmark for Fearless Business and Trust of Doing Business. He added that a combination of zero tolerance towards crime and good governance has made Uttar Pradesh a preferred destination for investment.

CM Yogi Adityanath presented comparative data showing unprecedented economic growth in recent years:

  • Healthcare Infrastructure: Under the “One District, One Medical College” initiative, 81 medical colleges have strengthened health services across the state.

Empowering Youth: 60 Lakh Jobs and a Thriving Startup Ecosystem

Addressing unemployment, CM Yogi noted that investment projects on the ground have generated employment for approximately 60 lakh youth. The MSME sector, with 96 lakh units, now sustains the livelihood of 2 crore families, bolstering entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities.

Banking Confidence and Financial Health

Highlighting improvements in the financial sector, the Chief Minister said the Credit-Deposit (CD) Ratio has increased from 44% to 65%, reflecting stronger credit availability for startups, self-employment, and infrastructure projects. The government aims to raise this ratio to 70%, further accelerating economic growth.

Corruption-Free Governance: Face-less and Non-Discriminatory Services

CM Yogi stressed that welfare schemes are now faceless, ensuring benefits reach eligible citizens without intermediaries or discrimination. From Ayushman cards to free ration, government assistance is being delivered efficiently and transparently. He credited this approach, combined with strong law and order, for transforming Uttar Pradesh from a lagging state into a model of growth and development.

Under CM Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh has achieved remarkable milestones in economic growth, employment generation, agriculture, renewable energy, and governance.
