Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday approved the transfer of two IAS officers, making significant administrative changes in key departments. Akhand Pratap Singh, a 2010-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as Special Secretary (Election) along with the additional charge of Additional Chief Electoral Officer. Prior to this appointment, Singh was serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Road Development Authority.
Deepa Ranjan Gets Additional Charge of Rural Road Development Authority
In another important administrative move, Deepa Ranjan, a 2013-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as Mission Director of the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihoods Mission. Along with this role, she has been given the additional responsibility of overseeing the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Road Development Authority.
Strengthening Governance in Key Departments
These appointments reflect the Uttar Pradesh government’s focus on strengthening governance and improving administrative efficiency in the state’s election and rural development departments.
