Uttarakhand: 23 Bureaucratic Department Reshuffled Including 13 IAS and 10 PCS

Uttarakhand government has reshuffled the departments of 23 bureaucrats, including 13 IAS and 10 PCS officers. In this major administrative reshuffle, Secretary Sachin Kurve has also departed from the Food and Supplies Department of Cabinet Minister.

In lieu of this department, the government has given the responsibility of revenue department to Kurve. Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan has been released from the Revenue Department. Secretary Personnel Shailesh Bagauli issued the transfer orders late in the evening. According to the order, the charge of agriculture and farmer welfare has been removed from Bagauli and given to Brijesh Sant.

This responsibility has been given to DM Dehradun Sonika after sending the Sant away from the post of Vice-Chairman of Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA). Sant will also look after the responsibility of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs with the Director General of Mining.

Secretary (in-charge) Deependra Chaudhary has been given the responsibility of urban development by diverting the revenue. Additional secretary Ranveer Singh has been relieved of the responsibility of information and director general information. Additional Secretary Banshidhar Tiwari has been made the new Director General of Information. The rest of his departments have been kept the same.

Savin Bansal, who returned from abroad, has been made Additional Secretary, Disaster Management, Project Manager UEAP. Karmendra Singh has been made Additional Secretary Personnel and Vigilance, Social Welfare and Commissioner Disabled after being released from the Secretary Public Service Commission. Additional Secretary Dr. Meherban Singh has been given the responsibility of Food Civil and Consumer Affairs and Commissioner Food Civil Supplies.

The responsibility of Project Manager UEAP has been removed from Additional Sachin Anand Srivastava. Girdhari Singh Rawat has been sent as Secretary, Public Service Commission, Haridwar. The responsibility of youth welfare, sports, director, youth welfare has been removed from him. Additional Secretary Jitendra Kumar Sonkar has been freed from disaster management and made the Director of Youth Welfare, Sports. Additional Secretary Pratap Singh Shah has been relieved from the post of Food Supplies and Additional Commissioner.

Social Welfare and Commissioner for Disabled has been removed from Additional Secretary Chandra Singh Dharamshaktu. Additional Secretary Madan Mohan Semwal has bid farewell to the Chief Minister’s Office. PCS Arvind Kumar Pandey has been made Secretary Human Rights Commission. Krishna Kumar Mishra has been removed from the post of Additional Chief Executive Officer Smart City.

Now this responsibility will be handled by PCS Shyam Singh Rana. He has been relieved from the post of GM of Roadways. Dr. Shiv Kumar has been relieved from the post of Executive Director of Doiwala Sugar Mill. Manish Bisht has been transferred from Champawat to the post of Deputy District Magistrate of Udham Singh Nagar and Regional Manager of Sidkul Pantnagar.
