In a major administrative reshuffle in Uttarakhand, the Pushkar Singh Dhami government shifted 24 IAS and 1 PCS officers across the state. While IAS Vinay Shankar Pandey was made the Chief Minister’s Secretary, Haridwar, Nainital and Almora got new district magistrates.
According to the order issued by Additional Secretary Karmendra Singh, Dheeraj Singh Gabryal has been made the district collector of Haridwar while Ms. Vandana has been made DM, Nanital. Vineet Tomar will take charge as Almora DC.
Besides handling matters at the chief minister’s office, Mr Pandey will also hold major responsibilities of MSME and Investment Commissioner.
Manisha Panwar has been made Additional Chief Secretary replacing Anand Vardhan, who was given the charge of Finance and Development Commissioner.
RK Sudhanshu has been given the charge of Principal Secretary Urban Development and R. Meenakshi Sundaram has been given the charge of Secretary Planning External Aid Projects.
Nitish Kumar Jha has been made Secretary, Rural Development. Arvind Singh Hanky has been appointed as Secretary Drinking Water whereas Sachin Kurve has been given the responsibility of Secretary, Civil Aviation.
Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey was given the charge of Director General Mining with additional responsibility of Secretary Public Works Department and Chairman Bridge Ropeway & Tunnel. Sandeep Tiwari has been made MD Kumaon Division Development.
